How To Brew Hot Tea

HOW TO MAKE A FABULOUS CUP OF HOT TEA USING OUR LOOSE-LEAF BLENDS
Hot infusions draw out vitamins, enzymes, antioxidants and delicate aromatic compounds from the aerial parts of a plant (flowers, leaves, etc.) as well as some aromatic roots. It makes a huge difference to use cold, filtered water when making your tea. Heat just shy of the boiling stage, about 180-200°F, to obtain the most potent infusion for your loose-leaf blend.
Makes one 8 oz. cup.
Ingredients
- 1 - 2 teaspoons organic loose-leaf Wellness Tea Blend of choice
- 8 oz. water heated to 180-212°F
Directions
- Fill a loose-leaf infuser with your choice of Wellness Tea blend. Add 1 to 2 teaspoons of tea blend into a your loose-leaf tea infuser. Set infuser in cup.
- Pour heated water, (180-212 degrees), over loose-leaf tea blend and steep 5-7 minutes, or until desired strength.
- Remove infuser, add a touch of either our Wildflower Honey or Orange Blossom Honey to your tea and enjoy!
- Our Wellness Tea Blends are potent enough where you may wish to save the steeped leaves for a second cup of tea!
